Robert J. Doran, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer
Bob Doran, Chief Executive Officer of James Doran Company, oversees the strategic vision of the company. During his 20 years with the company, Doran has overseen development of retail space, office space and multi-family residential units throughout the Southeast representing more than $1 billion dollars worth of real estate transactions.

In addition to running James Doran Company, Doran serves as board chairman of the Humanities Foundation®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing, which he founded with his wife, Tracy, in 1992.

Doran attended the University of South Carolina and majored in banking, finance, insurance and real estate. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Doran currently lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with his wife and children. He spends leisure time with his family sailing, riding horses and hunting - with a few treasured Irish Setters in tow.

President
Shane Doran, President, has been with James Doran Company since 1991. Doran is the great, great grandson of William Doran, who, with his son James, founded the company in 1882. As president, Doran is responsible for the overall growth of the company and daily management of all aspects of the company, including operations, marketing, finance, development, leasing and sales.

Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Doran received his bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Florida. He sits on the board of the Humanities Foundation®, a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Doran and his wife, Michelle, live in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with their two daughters.
