James Doran Company Hires Development Manager
CHARLESTON, SC -- James Doran Company, a real estate investment and development company based on Daniel Island in Charleston, SC, recently hired John Henry, Jr., as development manager.
Henry oversees the development and construction of the company's upcoming projects in Richmond, VA, including Midlothian Town Center, a 35-acre mixed-use development in Chesterfield County. Additionally, he assists the Humanities Foundation® in overseeing the development and construction of active projects.
Previously, Henry was a founder and principal of Washco Retail Group, LLC, a real estate investment and development company that focused on the development of retail shopping centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. He also served as real estate counsel for Pyramid Management Group, Inc., one of the largest privately-held developers, owners and managers of shopping malls in the United States, and as an associate attorney with the law offices of Holland & Knight, LLP. Henry graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelor's degree in both history and political science and earned his law degree from the Washington and Lee University. He currently resides in Mount Pleasant, SC, with his wife, Kay, and their son, Austin.
