James Doran Company Adds Senior Controller to Team
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The James Doran Company, a real estate development and investment company based in Charleston, S.C., recently hired John M. Upchurch as senior controller. Upchurch will be responsible for managing accounting and financial reporting for the company.
Before joining James Doran Company, Upchurch served as controller for both Montecito Property Company and Regency Centers Corporation. Prior to that, he served as audit manager for Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Originally from Pensacola, Fla., Upchurch received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Florida State University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
