Eric R. Smithers has joined James Doran Co. and Shane J. Doran, Peter J. Harper and John A. Henry Jr. have been promoted

Smithers is executive vice president of operations and marketing. Previously, he was general counsel and President of Prime Retail LP in Baltimore and real estate counsel for Pyramid Management Group Inc. in Syracuse, N.Y. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from the State University of New York and a J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law.

Shane Doran is president, succeeding Robert J. Doran Jr., who is now chief executive officer. Previously, Shane Doran was President. He holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Florida.

Harper is Senior Vice President. Previously, he was chief operating officer. Before joining the company, he worked for Trammell Crow Co. and Buckley Shuler Properties. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and a master's degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University.

Henry is executive vice president of development, leasing and sales, and legal affairs. Before joining the company, he was a founder and principal of Washco Retail Group LLC. He holds a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Bucknell University and a J.D. degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
