JDC has created over three million square feet of “New Urban Villages,” comprised of mixed-use office and retail development, as well as almost six thousand apartment units, for a total development cost of more than $1.5 billion. The business has seen great success as it continues to expand into new markets.
In 2009, James Doran Company took advantage of funding opportunities to address the need for affordable housing in the Southeast. Recognizing a lack of accessible housing for low-income families and seniors, James Doran Company has continued to grow the affordable housing sector. Creating beautiful, high-quality housing in neighborhoods that offer a great quality of life for residents has become inherent to James Doran Company’s mission to better serve communities by creating resources for those in need.

JDC Management
JDC Management, LLC, was founded in 2009 as a wholly owned subsidiary of James Doran Company to provide hands-on property management services, and it has currently grown to 54 employees. With more than two hundred years of combined experience, JDC's staff understands that it takes hard work, attention to detail, and innovation to excel in the property management industry.
Quantum Builders
The James Doran Company established Quantum Builders in 2010 to provide construction management and property maintenance for the growing portfolio. Quantum Builders are experts in both construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties. Quantum Builders continuously strives to build strong relationships with general contractors, municipality building departments, and architects to achieve high-quality and cost-efficient construction. By working in predevelopment services all the way through property maintenance, Quantum Builders continues to maintain the excellence of the James Doran Company portfolio.
